Religious and Cultural roles in gender are the different rules and ideas practiced by a certain race that affect the gender of race. These ideas are usual based on the religious beliefs of that race or the cultural practices they have. For example, in some countries, its more desired to give birth to males than females because the males are needed to go to war and can take on the harder kinds of labor to help support the family.
In China, the situation there is that boys are more desired than girls because of the population. China is home to a lot of people,so it led to the Chinese having to kill children and creating rules like the 1 child policy,to try and minimize the amount. Soon the law was outlawed,so as a new solution to keep the population at bay, they tried to have boy children instead of girls because,if there were more males it wouldn't led to not as many children. No children meant not a lot of population increase. The problem with this idea is that not many of the women in the country are OK with this decision. Because of this new culture, women as are looked down on,mostly at birth. There is also fear that this will lead to sexual violence, sociable instability, and all around crime. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/nov/02/chinas-great-gender-crisis
This makes me feel concerned for the people of China because the situation sounds terrible down there. Especially for the women. This concerning is a global issue because this law can successfully reshape the mindset of men for Chinese women permanently. This could lead to a hatred of men throughout China, and since China supplies most countries with the means of most of their materials, including for the U.S.,it is important as a unit the work together. As unrealistic as it sounds, any form of conflict can lead to disaster,
This problem can be fixed if people are aware of it's existence. Chinese women need to be more tolerant with the idea of more men then women, given the situation, also. As for the men, security precautions and night police of some sort should be established or better maintained to keep them in check.
